0 A very impressive showing from Gujarat to chase down 188 in KOL's den led by their captain who is as big an T20 League stalwart as any. That's all from us. On behalf of our commentary stalwarts - Raju Peethala, Akshay Maanay, Ramakrishnan, Abhinand - and our scorer Siva, this is Sagar Chawla signing off. Cheers!

0 Raina: It was an important game for us, do or die I would say. Wicket was pretty good, and we really bowled well towards the end. We came back strongly. We kept losing wickets in the middle and I thought I had to stay till the end. Kept telling myself, look to be positive. No need to play cross-batted shots. It was a good team effort today. We got Uthappa at a crucial time, PK bowled very well with back to back yorkers. Basil is a really good prospect, he's been very consistent with his yorkers. Faulkner also did well to get Gambhir. He was looking very good. I was very calm at the wicket. I knew I had to stick till the end. I like to chase always. If you look at the last two years in the T20 League, every team batting second has been in a very comfortable position. Batting looks really good. We can improve our bowling. We've been giving a lot of runs in the first six overs. It's been good (his form). Been batting well and just need to continue with that.
0 Suresh Raina is Man of the Match!
0 Gambhir: I thought we batted really well. 188 was a really good total, but they took the game away from us in the first six overs. For the kind of bowling we have, I thought we had enough runs on the board. The way Finch and Baz (McCullum) batted, they took the game away. The wicket was still a bit sticky in the first innings, we knew that it would get better in the second innings. Whoever plays against Gujarat would want to chase because they are a batting-heavy side. They were far more professional than us tonight. He (Raina) is a quality player and they are a quality side as well. It is always good to see him (Raina) get runs, but obviously not against us (smiles). We are still in a good position. I would have taken four (wins) out of six games if you had asked me at the start of the tournament.
0 23:47 Local Time, 18:17 GMT, 23:47 IST: Gujarat were off to a flier from Finch and McCullum. But that rain interruption at the five-over mark threatened to derail their run-chase completely as KOL started off really strong after the resumption. That's when Raina stepped up to the plate. Despite wickets tumbling around him, the Gujarat skipper played a magnificent knock to propel his team to the door of victory. He steered the chase almost single-handedly during that middle period, getting boundaries at regular intervals to ease the pressure of the run-rate. He finally found some support from Jadeja and their partnership sealed the game for the visitors. The bowlers for KOL, who are usually really good at home, had an off-day with most of them, barring Kuldeep Yadav, taking a beating.
18.2 Coulter-Nile to Jadeja, FOUR, Jadeja seals it with a boundary! Short from Coulter-Nile, enough width for Jadeja to slap it past backward point. Superb chase from the Gujarat to hopefully provide a boost to their turbulent campaign
18.1 Coulter-Nile to Faulkner, 1 run, yorker outside off, Faulkner squeezes it off the toe-end to third man
17.6 Kuldeep Yadav to Faulkner, 3 runs, the googly, but the line is a giveaway as it pitches well down leg. Faulkner glances it away fine. They just about make it back in time for three to beat Yadav's sharp throw to the keeper
0 James Faulkner, right handed bat, comes to the crease
17.5 Kuldeep Yadav to Raina, out Caught by M Pandey!! Raina perishes just short of the finish line. It's a flat leg-break outside off, Raina wants to cut but the ball turns away sharply and takes a thick top-edge. It loops up to the left of Pandey at point who takes a really sharp catch diving across. End of a fine knock, and surely a match-winning one. Raina c M Pandey b Kuldeep Yadav 84(46) [4s-9 6s-4]
0 Kuldeep Yadav to Raina, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!
17.4 Kuldeep Yadav to Raina, SIX, quickly onto his back knee to smoke a slog-sweep over mid-wicket. He sees the ball drifting into leg, it's in the slot and Raina gets under it beautifully. Just 8 needed now
17.3 Kuldeep Yadav to Jadeja, 1 run, pushes this one through on leg, Jadeja smartly nudges it into the on-side for a single
17.2 Kuldeep Yadav to Raina, 1 run, turning away from a back of length on off, Raina punches it with the turn wide of point
17.1 Kuldeep Yadav to Jadeja, 1 run, generously tossed up on off, overpitches, and Jadeja drills it down to long-on
0 Kuldeep Yadav [3.0-0-21-1] is back into the attack
16.6 Coulter-Nile to Jadeja, 1 run, full toss on off-stump, Jadeja pushes it to extra-cover for a quick single
16.5 Coulter-Nile to Raina, 1 run, 120kph, another slower one. Coulter-Nile bowls it full again but keeps it wide of off this time. Raina steers down to third man
16.4 Coulter-Nile to Raina, SIX, slower ball this time, and all the way. He's tearing into Coulter-Nile here. Picks up the change of pace right off the hand and whips the ball off middle and leg into the deep mid-wicket stands
16.3 Coulter-Nile to Raina, FOUR, he's winning it for his team. Makes some room and nearly slices this overpitched delivery from off-stump. The placement is spot on, so is the timing as he nails this past backward point
16.2 Coulter-Nile to Raina, no run, this time he wants to go more over extra-cover, his patent shot, but misses out as Coulter-Nile slants it in from round the wicket. Beaten on the inside edge
16.1 Coulter-Nile to Raina, FOUR, length ball outside off, Raina moves leg-side and slaps it straight back past the bowler. Mid-off was up inside the ring, and Raina is able to slot it to his left
0 Nathan Coulter-Nile [2.0-0-20-2] is back into the attack
0 Time-out! It's Gujarat's game to lose from here. 33 from 24. They've played this beautifully, led by Raina
15.6 Narine to Jadeja, 2 runs, on the shorter side, Jadeja pulls it away wide of deep mid-wicket for a brace
